Recruitment Events
Over the next few weeks, we'll be hosting a series of recruitment events in partnership with some of the top firms that recruit from Virginia Tech. We highly encourage you to attend some or all of these events for a chance to network with our members, as well as these firms. During the last week, we'll be hosting a Meet CGVT panel for you to ask questions and meet our members. The recruitment event schedule will be posted soon. These events are open to all students across all majors and years! Attire is business casual.

The recruitment process will test your analytical and professional skills through a series of interviews and training through our Associates Program.
Tips to Receive an Interview
Ensure that your resume is concise but thorough, comprehensive but relevant, and completely free of grammatical or formatting errors
Maintain a high academic standard (3.0+) to show your ability to follow directions and work hard
Effectively communicate your professional experience in order to prove your ability to contribute to CGVT
Attend our recruitment events to meet CGVT leadership and better understand our role at Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, and in the consulting world
Interviews
Case Interview
The case will be revealed at the beginning of the interview. Interviewers will be scored based on their knowledge of the industry, case strategy, solution feasibility, presentation, and communication. Expect simplistic arithmetic with no calculator use and a mathematical application of basic business terminology. Applicants should be prepared to answer questions regarding the case and their solution.
Behavioral Interview
The behavioral portion may consist of a review of your resume and further questions about your background and relevant experiences. Interviewers are looking for applicants to be conversational, passionate, and interested. Essentially, would you pass the Airplane Test?
